This was a rare occasion that we had my whole family together!!! Hurray! We had a super time! Robby and Kelly were able to come from Tucson and be with us on T day. I love having them around. We have so much fun and their kids fill in the gaps we have. Dylan and Halston are only a year apart and the same with Gwen and Quincie.

Small Yoga

Running through the ladder rungs...harder than it looks.

Warrior pose...note the face...must look like warrior...not some cute kids.
Yeah I have it on here 2x I don't know how to get a picture off once I have it on...

Box jumps.

Listening for the rooster (Sarah) to crow so we can wake up and do sun salutaions.

Quincie takes this class ( and I get to help !!!) called Tough kids and Preschool Yoga. It's the cutest thing ever. She learns all this great stuff like how to climb, planks ,squats and coordination along with yoga. Its adorable how these little kids can do Yoga and not even know they are doing something so good for themselves! Plus, they do all this stuff that's so much harder when you get older and they are learning how to do it right the first time while they are still small. Quincie call's it "Small Yoga."

More Veterans Day fun!

Veterans day! Take 2...

I wasn't even mad...what a face!

Practicing some of our Parquor stunts!

Yeah we are climbing over trash cans and up onto a fence

The more I blog the more I realize that I take the pictures and that I am not in very many...that's all fine but I am here. My parents are great at whipping out the ol' camera and taking pictures. Now I know what my Mom was always talking about how she was at every event but there was never proof...curse of being behind the camera. Well, here are some pictures of me although not very flattering..do I really look like that??? Heavens....

Ok, so someone got a bit of a rest...

I don't remember Veterans day being during the week when I was a kid. Now it is! We had Thursday off from school. Weird but a nice rest in the middle of the week. Did I say rest?? Here is what we did on Veterans day. First we had yummy pumpkin pancakes. Then some of us went to Quincies "Small Yoga" as she calls it. Then we met up with the rest of the family at the Mesa Veterans day Parade. It was good and long! After that wen went to Freestone park ( what a great park I often forget what a super park it is!) had a picnic and then went rock climbing at the Freestone Rec center. Totally fun. Grandma and grandpa went to Yoga, parade and park with us and that is where Beckie and her kids met up with us then we went to the rock wall. Fun day and really not a bit rest full, but quite a bit less driving than usual!

Sun Day

How to get a lot of merit badges...have your Dad come along with you to the park and read to you!
At the park down the street from our house!!!!

These 2 have always gotten along so well...they do tend to get quite a bit goofy though!

This was a wonderful Sunday, as Sundays go. I know a lot of people don't like to go to the park on Sundays but it keeps us from hurting each other if we go so if the weather is nice we head out to the park. Now that we live in a neighborhood with parks it is so nice!!! As you can see my kids really "hate" the dirt and digging....silly kids love it to bits..I think they will have to bring in more sand soon we have so much on the floors at home!!! It kinda reminded us of the time we went to Mexico..the sand was everywhere and we were on the 3rd floor! I go to the park to hang out with the kids, or read a book and listen to the kids talk...Roger goes to read merit badge books to the boys...whatever works! I think this one was on pottery.

Triathlon

Sherri and I at home after the Tri. I didn't want to take my camera and leave it unattended!!!
I love doing triathlons!!! I have only done sprints by myself but I really enjoy them...when I have a little more time I will train for an Olympic distance. I talked my friend Sherri into doing our first triathlon about 3 1/2 years ago...our little girls were about 6 months old. Since then we have done several together. I have done about 9 I think. Most I did entirely myself but I did swim in a relay for 2 of them. We have a blast and usually hit the outlet malls on our way home :) Don't know how well we did yet as far a times go...the computer was not working so they are supposed to put times on the Internet...but I'm not sure where to look. I am very curious !!!! Hurray Sherri this was your first one in normal order ( the other ones we have done were in reverse order....run, bike, swim!) and you did GREAT!!!!!!
