Rachel Beecroft (Me), Kristin Rogers, Beth Adair, Sandra Stapely, Lisa Wallace and Kathryn Cook. Muffin Tops. This was after the finish line and we were quite smelly and yucky.

Ragnar Relay Del Sol Feb 26 and 27, 2010!!!! Here we are at the finish line with our whole team of 12 Ladies!!!! Look how awesome we are all!!! Stinky and sweaty and stil looking good....just don't look too close!

Here is Van one. this is the van I rode in and the girls I relayed with. This is at the big exchange where all our runners have run and we have handed off the slap bracelet to the other van of 6 girls so now we can rest and eat.

One of our windows on our white van. There were the names of everyone in our van.
Lisa Wallace is a hoot....I think she laid awake nights thinking about funny things to put on the windows!
This was my 3rd year running this relay race. It was 204 miles from Prescott to Tempe. We each got to run 3 times and the mileage varied. I was the most prepared this year and I had the most fun. My first leg was a great run outside of Prescott. i felt great it was a little cold but perfect when your all heated up running. What made it even better was seeing a girl I went to High School with and then passing her and never seeing her again!!! My second leg was at about 11 pm. I got to run through old town Wickenburg. I passed a lot of people and that made it all the more fun. As I was nearing the end I was suddenly passed by another girl. I was super ticked! When I saw the exchange I sprinted all out!!! She said "AHHHH" and sprinted too. she beat me by a second but it was awesome! We high fived and laughed. She said that she was trying to catch me the whole time and that I run like a gazelle. It was funny. but I tweaked my knee a Little bit. My third leg was Saturday morning and it was a little chilly too. I ran in Rio Verde just passed where Roger built that house. My goal was to not let anyone pass me and I almost made it...1 girl passed me right at the end...I was sleepy and my knee was super hurting. I was just glad that I could run that last leg. I thought that I might not be able to make it. We had suck a good time. I knew some of the girls but you know what? Put girls in a van together for 24 hours and by the end they will come out being friends. GO MUFFIN TOPS!!! Until next year my friends! :)
